Ouse Valley Foods started selling fresh Hollandaise Sauce at the local asparagus farm in May 2004. Soon after Julian started creating our crystal clear jellies, with their ingredients magically suspended in the brightly coloured set which then led to the introduction of the chutneys, conserves and marmalades. Our products are all hand prepared in small batches at our unit in Plumpton Green near Lewes, East Sussex.

We remain passionate about the seasonality of what we make, using nothing but the freshest, most natural ingredients. Ouse Valley Foods have cooked seasonally and sourced locally long before these two became the catchphrases of the food industry. We think it is important to stress this nature of our products so they are grouped in three categories – Core Range which are available all year round; Summer Range, available from 1st April to 30th September; and Winter Range which will run from 1st October until 31st March. There will also be Limited Editions and Seasonal Specials available throughout the year.
In 2009 Ouse Valley Foods celebrated its 5th year in business. We have designed this new and more exciting website to mark this anniversary. We think it will more effectively convey the ethos of our brand – made with intuition, integrity and care…
